From April 28 to May 1, 2011, amputee swimmers and swimmers with other disabilities from around the world were in Berlin for the 25th International German Swimming Open for athletes with a disability.

Remember a previous competition organized in Berlin and view some additional photographs taken in the year 2003. Some of the athletes which took part in the event back then are still competing, others have ended their career or became coaches or team officials.

Vom 28. April bis zum 1. Mai 2011 hat in Berlin die 25. Internationale Deutsche Meisterschaft im Schwimmen der Behinderten stattgefunden.

Christiane Reppe, die damals am Wettkampf teilgenommen hat, sind immer noch aktiv, andere, wie Tino Gödecke aus Magdeburg, haben ihre Schwimmkarriere inzwischen beendet.
