Chemnitz Short Course Swimming 2005 Photos

On November 26 and 27, 2005,  nearly 200 swimmers took part in this year’s German Short Course Championships for amputee swimmers and swimmers with other disabilities, an event yearly organized in the city of Chemnitz, located in Eastern Germany. According to the event’s organizers, several records were broken during the competition, including 8 world records.

For some of the participants the championships in Chemnitz were the last test before they left for the United States, were they are to compete in the U.S. Paralympics Open Swimming Championships to be held from December 6 to 12 in Colorado Springs.
